I’d much rather see Cash or a new RB come in than force Konsa to play there. We have a long season ahead of us, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with rotating the CBs to maintain their fitness, energy and minimise risk of injury.

He's going to really help with that big aerial weakness we suffered from last season and his recovery pace too.

What's the reckoning on the first choice back four?

Digne Pau Mings Konsa?

If we are bringing in McKennie, Iling-Junior & Barkley to add to Nedeljković, then thats also, 6'1", 6'0"; 6'1" & 6'1" heights respectively.

Each replacing a physically shorter player to help fix our lack of physicality across the pitch, as well as at both attacking & defending set-pieces...

I think it's pretty obvious that there's an intent to make us more physical and powerful.

Little Emi is a powerful man, he's like Scrappy Doo, but in a way that doesn't make you want to dismember him.

Yep. I recently watched the Leicester home match from two seasons ago and he had a tremendous header from a corner which cannoned off the corner of the goal.

He scored from a header away at Everton too, which isn't easily done these days.

Indeed. Along with adding a lot more pace...

I approve of this... 😁

Indeed.

Mings & Torres too.

But I was more talking about the potential incoming players to add to the height we already have.

Tbf, I probably should have added them in at the end to make my point a little clearer.

Moreno / Pau / Mings / Konsa

With the other three I think a more attacking LB is beneficial.

Assuming Ty can get himself up to speed. Do we think he’d be a good pairing with Pau. He has the strength, positioning and defensive abilities to compliment Pau’s distribution. But as both of them naturally play at LCB will it be a good option.

I also want to see Konsa continue to kick on and build on his great development with opportunities at RCB with another option coming in at RB.
