I saw something recently where he bumped into a fan in America and pretty sure he said he would be out all season to them.

His picture looks like he'd just watched Harry Maguire last night.

He could have played all season without us conceding a goal and he'd have still been sat on the bench watching that lummox bumble around last night.

Surely PWS already knows what the announcement is?

Konsa was talking about him being out all season in his England interview too. I had assumed all season anyway based on my complete lack of medical knowledge.

I love Tyrone and will be gutted if it's anything serious. That said, it smacks of a 'what's up hun' type post on Facebook.

I saw it earlier on X/Twitter and have been on the lookout for the news since then, with everything crossed for Ty and the Villa.

I love Mings but I don't like these kinds of things. Announcements about announcements.

Just announce your thing.

Its not nice to get the fans agitated like this.

Might just be me but I really don't like attempts at teasing.

I'm wondering this must be a major announcement. I can only think he'll announce his retirement from football.
The physical and mental toll of the injury, as well as having to get back to contention and competition to depose Pau Torres.
Perhaps he wants to concentrate on something other than football and now is the type to finish

Good Wishes is all I can say. He'll be a success whatever he is going to do.
If it's the case that he is retiring of course.

Let's wait and see what he has to say first.

Let's wait and see what he has to say first.
Everyone is  curious about the announcement, and retiring may be a possibility. I hope of course that's not the case as it would be disappointing but I would respect the decision.
To remove all of his images bar one on social media and the symbolic image in black and white makes me think retirement.

Mings is under contract until 2026, so I don't believe this is a new contract. It's best to just wait and see, that's quite right and I'm an optimist, especially under Emery, it's a good news story.

But does anyone else think there is a chance of retirement, though? It's best to prepare ourselves sometimes, so it's less shocking. He's 30 years old, and maybe with everything, it's a case that football playing isn't his thing anymore.

Mings has always been more than just a footballer. He said he never wanted the label just as : 'Tyrone Mings Footballer'
But More I wonder and  feel he's calling time.Is that the wrong impression?
