Imagine holding your phone to record that.  Smh.

Best Wishes Ty. Lets hope not as bad as suspected. I'm not saying this isn't serious but i really worry when a player is totally motionless , that always says it's very very bad to me. Best Wishes Ty though we need you back ASAP.

Back in training on Monday apparently.  I’m being paul_e positive.  It’s all I have left.

And then posting it online as well.

That video reminds me of seeing Bouma get his leg snapped right in front of us in that (I think) early UEFA cup qualifier.

That was fucking horrible to see.

To be fair to whoever it was, it's extremely common to see the same sort of response from players rolling around and slapping the floor when there's been no contact whatsoever.

They at least reacted well when they realised it was serious.

Our fans would have been exactly the same, inc the background noise to the original clip.

Odense. That was awful. I've never known VP to fall silent so quickly.

I can remember when Bellamy was running felt pelt at VP, his hamstring went and everyone (including me) let out a huge cheer.

Think Terry got cheered off when he was stretched off one year and then signed for us a few years later.

There will always be idiot people in 40-50k crowds.

We are into the unknown now with probably many months without Mings playing for us. He's missed about 7 games since the start of 2020 so a huge part of us going from 17th to 7th in that timeframe.

He makes errors on occasions but look at what he brings in terms of leadership on the pitch, that can't be easily replaced and I certainly can't see Konsa being that CB now, it's just not in his character.

Hope it's not a season ender but it looks pretty likely. Considering the adversities he's had in his career he's got the resilience to get back from this injury however hard the recovery will be.

Let’s not pretend our fans are somehow better than others in the immediate aftermath of an injury. But ours are like most fans when we notice the seriousness of an injury. Newcastle fans reacted as we’d expect them to. There’s always a bell end or two in the crowd but most fans are pretty respectful when they see something serious.

Losing Mings and Buendia you couldn’t write it.

I’m not too bothered what people think our fans would do/wouldn’t do and if they’re better or worse than anyone else’s. They probably aren’t.

I can only speak for myself and say I just can’t imagine myself taking my phone out to film Anthony or Zaha feigning injury. Or needing to look at Tyrone Mings that amount of time to think “oh hang about he looks F’d”.

It’s right up there with filming a player when he’s walking up to take a corner. Totally alien to me. I just don’t get e.t.

I remember the absolute pasting Terry got at VP when he was crocked.

The same match where he conspired to get Benteke sent off and, lets face it, the first match at Villa Park after his racist comments courtcase.

However we also clapped off Lampard for beating the Chelsea all time goal scoring record even though it cost us the win.
