The injury is worse than the result for me. We can chalk it up as a bad day at the office, we'll go again next week, but the injury is a real shit thing to happen.

What I assume is a consultant has a still and says it looks like a 'prototypical ACL'.

Looking at his Linked in, I dont think he's even a Doctor. Possible a doctor of Physical Therapy , whatever that is

This is going to fuck our season. Mings is vital for us and was basically flawless from the moment Emery arrived last year.

Someone on that twitter account also mentioned Emery had similar at Arsenal where both Holding and Bellerin got ACL's within a couple of weeks of each other.

Lets wait and see on the Mings injury, it looked a bad one but could just be a bit of a hyper-extension, we'll know soon enough I'm sure.

Just said on the radio that he's still being treated at the stadium rather than taken to hospital. Pat Nevin seemed to think that was a positive.

Don’t they normally have to wait for some swelling to,go down before scans ?

Just relaying what I heard, I'm an accountant not a doctor and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
I was just asking a question…. That you chose not to answer or give an opinion on

You are an accountant? Never knew that

Even worse, a Chartered Accountant who used to be an auditor. :)
Given your lack of answers or opinion you could have easily become an MP

Massive loss with the injury to Tyrone, not just as a player but as a leader.

I really hope it's not as bad as feared.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned, but Ty got injured chasing an offside where the flag raise was delayed.
Worst case, at 30 years old, that decision could have ended his career. It’s both ridiculous from a professional point of view, and tragic for Tyrone 😔

They're happy to let the game run & run, even when there's a clear offside whilst supposedly trying to stop time wasting.

If anyone has the strength to come back it's Tyrone.

Well - like with Van Dijk, but this won't get the same attention cos he plays for us.  But, the current implementation of many of the laws of the game are absolutely ridiculous.  Even when we see at the women's world cup how some of it can be implemented better - we know well still get the shite we have been served up from officials in the "Best league in the world"

It’s a huge loss for us. He is probably the only leader we have on the pitch and a player everyone looks up to. I think he’s developed the best under Emery into a player we can’t do without.
We have to try and replace him with experience and with a player the others will respect. If it’s a bad season ending injury then another centre half is a must above anything else.
