Is this fact, opinion or snooker?

I think Emery said it in his presser earlier on.

Matt Law of the Telegraph is tweeting about who is not in the England squad, and he is generally well informed.

He has said that neither Tomori or Guehi will be in the squad ... maybe that opens up a spot for Tyrone?

In other tweets he suggests Tammy Abraham and Toney will not go, meaning Wilson is likely to get the nod. That would be typical dumb decision by Southgate (if it happens) ... though it will keep the physios busy. UTV

Would it? Wilson is in form, Tammy isn't and Toney seems to have the betting unpleasantness hanging around him.

Re Wilson, quite right he's found some form (now aged 30) though he's made of glass and as a back-up player that makes him a dumb selection IMO.

It's 8 or 9 years since he managed anywhere near a full season. Plus he's a dirty player, so likely to fall foul of hyper vigilent WC refs.

Can you tell I don't like him  ;)

My calculations.
The squad is made up of 26 and would be looking at 8 to 9 defenders
Mings has big opportunities as a left footer.

Yeah, it isn't Southgate's fault that Toney is a twat.

That leak was deliberate so Toney won't be going. Theory being to allow room for Rashford.

But other players at bigger clubs get protceted and still given chances despite their shortcomings off the pitch over the years.

You just know mouthgate will take

Shaw - he is that overweight he makes me look like an athlete

Dier - Absolute garbage

Slabhead - cannot get a sniff at United

Rashford - Garbage

Sterling - stinking Chelsea out at present

Greedy - told to go and play for a "big" team yet only plays intermittently

Walker - who is a good player but always seemingly injured

If there is no Villa presence in the team i really don't give a toss about England to be honest - Hope Emi wins it and for Messi to be crowned the greatest ever player

I like Sterling a lot. I suppose he'll pick Kalvin Phillips though despite his lack of game time.

Seems likely that Mings is in.
