Flawless performance by Mings. Not his most difficult game against a toothless attack, but still, well done.

Seems the ideal partner for Carlos for me.

Pleased for Tyrone. Thought he was all action today, which is when he's at his best.

You’re right, I just remembered the sliced clearance. He had a very good game though.

He was his usual self. Missed a header that nearly led to a goal for them, but aside from that he was either fine or making goal-saving, last-ditch interventions. Didn't hoof it quite as often as he normally does, either. Probably because Kamara provides a dependable option for the short ball.

Sliced maybe. But
a) he didn't piss about trying to play it out
b) he cleared the ball
c) it wasn't an OG

Job done.

Think Tyrone and Carlos will form a solid partnership the more they play together. Konsa and Chambers are good back up options too.

What aftershave does he wear Martin?

Re. Souness, a key point is Souness opens his mouth for money, Tyrone speaks from his heart and is guided solely by his beliefs.

I don't know, I reckon it's quite possible that Souness actually holds a load of shit-for-brains Tory views quite genuinely without someone needing to pay him for them.

Souness is a shitter, uglier, less funny Roy Keane. If he hadn't gone into football, he would've been a bailiff.

The only interesting thing about Souness is that he looked like Yosser Hughes.
