Meatballs is too daft to be captain, he’s more like our court jester. Anyone see his nutmeg celebration today? He’s absolute bonkers!

Mings is such a class act. He was superb when called upon for England.

Mings is a leader.

He should be captain, regardless of whether Jack stays or go - he's a born leader.

Love him. Helps keep perspective of who  (& what) really matters for their impact on the nation’s well being too (whilst riding the Jack will-he-won’t-he rollercoaster)

He has my total respect and sympathy for talking about these issues, but why the fuck is he doing interviews with the Sun?

Agree with Paddy.  Right thing.  Very much the wrong newspaper.  Had he never heard of their Hillsborough fans pissing on dead fans bodies CV?

Tyrone needs to have a conversation with Marcus Rashford about not leading with your chin when dealing with the right wing media.

That raised and eyebrow with me too. Perhaps it's the sun's readership demographic he's trying to reach.

Well, if it helps spread the message so that some of their typical readership have a better understanding of such issues, then I'd say it's OK. It's not like he's just talking about a new car or where he's off to on holiday or anything.
