Neville is also a good lad. I couldn't have predicted writing that 20 years ago.

Agreed, and agreed!

Well said Tyrone. Bloody hypocrite. We really are getting the wrong people into important jobs in this government.

You don’t get to stoke the fire at the beginning of the tournament by labelling our anti-racism message as ‘Gesture Politics’ & then pretend to be disgusted when the very thing we’re campaigning against, happens.

I am disgusted that @England players who have given so much for our country this summer have been subject to vile racist abuse on social media.

It has no place in our country and I back the police to hold those responsible accountable.

Well fucking said Tyrone.

Absolutely agreed.

As everybody has said, everything we could want in a man.
I’m hoping to sort out some link between us and SC Villa in Kampala around mental health and was sharing Ty’s three short Samaritan’s videos he shared a few months back, he’s just such a absolute super star. Was it someone in this thread described it as an iconic tweet? It’s not hyperbole. Just so much to love about him, and great point about the exp being good for him/us too. Remember when we worried if we were overpaying? He’s been worth it for off the pitch alone!!!

Hear hear. Tyrone calling out Patel is just so good. I wonder how they’ll wriggle out of this one?

I'm so proud he's one of us. And I mean that in every way.
Well said.

Patel has been subjected to racial abuse herself, so what she says is fine - apparently.

Yes, just heard a Tory going with that argument on the radio clearly not realising that the fact that Patel has encountered racist abuse herself makes her fomenting it that much more odious and revolting.

Magnificent from Tyrone. Just magnificent.

Go Tyrone, hold this pathetic, so-called government to account.  Top man.

Class Act.
Pure and simple.
Politicians only have a plan of popularity and vote.grabbing soundbites.
Fair play for him to pull up the very person who should be front and centre of this situation.

I'm guessing it'll be their tried and tested method of ignoring it and it will blow over.

Well I can't say i'm happy about it. The last time a Conservative government got involved in football, every  fan was considered worse than scum for 10 years and were treated like it by the police. if the government decide to react, they are only going to demonise one group. Us, basically.

Players come and players go but Mings, to me anyway, feels like he's always been part of the club's fabric.
