12 months ago, at the height of lockdown 1, it was all going to be so different ‘when this is all over’.
We were going to be more tolerant, more understanding, kinder, more humble, appreciative, and the world was going to be a much better place.

12 months on, look at it now….it’s seems worse than ever.

You would think every Villa fan would understand BLM when you consider Dalian Atkinson, a hero to many of us, a man who clearly needed help for whatever demons he suffered from died at the hands of police. I’m not here to discuss or litigate that. But it’s that black men specifically don’t get the benefit of the doubt at the hands of law enforcement. Not just now but throughout history. Passed down through many generations all they just want to bring that prejudice to an end. It’s just not that hard to understand and have respect. Even if you don’t think the vehicle used to deliver the message is effective, at least try to understand and educate yourself as to the message.

The jury is currently considering whether Dalian was murdered or not. There may or may not be an investigation as to the motivation for that murder if it's proven. I have my suspicions but I think it's right that a court should decide.

I thought Tyrone played very well against Croatia. I've been a critic of his concentration and performances at times, but he's generally been an excellent signing. Good in the air, loves to block, brave, fast, strong, has a lovely left foot, too. Everything I want from a centre back really.

Off the field, what's not to like? Sorry chrisf, but I don't really see where you're coming from. If you don't agree with Mings taking the knee, that's your choice, fair enough. But booing him and others for doing so, I don't get that.

For me it's jumping on the bandwagon of unpleasantness.
