Clearances: 5 (1st in team)
Tackle Success: 100% (=1st)
Touches: 109 (1st)
Accurate Passes: 94 (1st)
Pass Accuracy: 93.1% (3rd)
That should make him MotM.

The commentator was getting on my nerves with how often he was bringing up Cristiano Ronaldo's name.

Clive “that night in Barcelona/Istanbul” Tyldesley really gets on my wick. Pair him up with Glenda Hoddle and you have just about the worst comms pairing since Alan Green and Mark Lawrenson.

Does that prick Green still do commentaries on 5Live can anyone say?  I used to love listening to football commentaries, still do  now and again, I was brought up on them.  It was Green more than anyone that stopped me listening.  A Grade A c**t!

Retired now.

Edit, actually he is a play by play commentator in the MLS for Atlanta United.

When he started he was very good as he learnt at the knee of one Peter Jones but as soon as Jones tragically passed away after Hillsborough, he seemed to lose his way and it became much more about him and his opinions.

I don’t know if it’s just me getting older but I so miss many of those great radio or TV comms guys. Peter Jones and Barry Davies, both artists of the less is more brigade, along with Coleman, Moore etc etc. Modern commentary has regressed so much into a profession and that search for the iconic commentary moment to be up there with Wolstenhomes 66 and it does the whole thing a disservice. Ye gods I’m even missing Pat Murphy being sarcastic about the Villa!

Tomori is an agile player but he has a mistake in him every game.  Hoddle hasn't had a proper job in football for years, there is a reason for that.  It because he's a twunt.

He always used to say ‘this is dire stuff’ about our evening games before we got relegated. Used to get right on my tits even if he was right.

I'd never heard of Tomori until he came on last night. 55 games on loan at Derby last season and 14 so far for Chelsea. Go figure.

There's your answer. More so because Steve Holland was a coach there.

Was decent in playoff final against us.

Players from London clubs always have appeared to get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to international selection. Another example here.

Although Mings has started 2 of England's last 3.
