A hard thing for a player to do. But I mean, who else?

I love the man.

Full interview with Ben Foster on spotify. Good insight on his career, the injuries, himself and Villa.

Just listened to the whole of this driving a long distance. Absolutely brilliant to hear and get a good sense of Tyrone again, the man love has been somewhat on hold with him being so out the picture.

Quite a few different stand outs, found myself beaming once or twice, love the story of him playing at Stourbridge one Saturday and then being at Ellen Road the following week, lovely to hear his answer and experience around the most famous person he knows, he has so got his head screwed on. It’s been said before, but when his playing days are done, I hope he becomes part of the furniture at villa.

For me as a 55 year old, Tyrone Mings is up there with Paul McGrath and Brian Little, this guy is an absolute Villa legend.

Mings and McGinn are modern day legends of this club both on and off the pitch they've done the club proud .

I'll be amazed if he doesn't go on to do TV work once he retires (hopefully that's some way off).

I just listened to the full interview with Tyrone.
What an absolute pleasure listening to him chat for an hour.

I already loved him, but he has gone up another level.
A top, top man.

I was thinking that while listening. Different level to the current pundits. As is the ex-Hull manager. Liam Rosenior is it? Sadly for football viewers, he seems to be giving it a go in management.

But yeah, Mings will be a great pundit I reckon. I mean, if Troy Deeny can get a job…

Yeah, they weren't my era, but that feels like quite a bold statement.

It is.
Not as bad as Merse saying Fil fukin Foden is probably the best midfielder in the world, but even so.

He’s not even the best midfielder in Moss Side

He's not the best left-footed chavvy-faced English attacking midfielder of to come out of the Man City academy in the last five years.
