In the pitchside video of the Munich game I'm sure you can hear Rio Ferdinand asking him when is he back and Mings just laughs the question off. He must have known he was days away at that point.

Emery said a week ago he'd be playing in the reserves this week, so it wasn't really a secret.

I really hope Mings can get back to the level he was before the injury. If he can it will be great although where he fits in now I’m not sure.

The beast is BACK !!

I'm not sure that's the best nickname, tbh, mate.

Maybe not, but certainly true!

Nah. There has only ever been the one. He plays in the USA now. Mings is more your go to bottle of full bodied, reassuring red wine.

Amatyrone?

Don't we all.

Pau's not going to play 50+ games.

No you’re right, and you cannot drop Pau. I’m a massive Mings and Pau fan  so it will be good to have two excellent left sided centre backs as long as Mings can stay fit.

Great news. So if we take Wednesday’s starting line-up out of the equation, our bench could soon be:

Gauci
Cash
Mings
Kamara
Maatsen
McGinn
Bailey
Duran
Buendia

Tasty.

EDIT: forgot Barkley (and probably others).

Oh Percy you naive fool. You know very well that's never going to happen. Just when Mings and Kamara are fit, we will lose 3. It is the way...

You mean yesterday? Assume they will play Tuesday too.

They each had 45mins (first half) in the U21 game against Newcastle yesterday (lost 2-3)

Not according to one of today’s commentators. Piss poor research. Even Townsend didn’t correct him!

Are Mings and Kamara due to get more minutes for the u21s against Bolton tomorrow? Can’t see anything reported.
