Plus we played 3-5-2, so it wasn't him getting beaten at the back post as much as it was Southgate.

Alan Wright had a freakish jump on him. Was one of my favourite players for the villa, so likeable and with real quality too

Still remember him outjumping Vinnie Jones in the match where we slaughtered them.

Tyrone Mings expressing support for the MoTD 6. The more evidence there is that he’s a sound person, the more I’m convinced he has bodies buried under his patio. Too good to be true.

Good for him.

More criticism of him as a player incoming.

I had a quick read of a number of the replies to his tweet and was pleasantly surprised that the vast majority were supportive, even from fans of other clubs including Blues.

Noticable exceptions seemed mainly Leeds and Albion fans. Hands up who is surprised at that.

Would that be the Albion who have always held themselves up as doughty anti-racists?

What's Tyrone done to annoy West Brom? Did he fart on a photo of Jeff Astle or something?

I like how Mings himself doesn't just see himself just as Tyrone the footballer. He's not defined by his job.
Some ex pros and supporters and other outside observers get really agitated when footballers are being "busy" outside of football. Gerrard and Sourness (as I call him) didn't seem to want to allow for Mings bring anything other than a defender on the football field.
