Can someone tell me why he goes up for corners? He never ever gets his head on the ball.

A very valid question Russ.

He's proving to be the emperor with no clothes this season. Time to board another train.

Nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.

Not great from defensive set pieces either.

Thought he played well yesterday though. Was helped by Everton giving our midfield duo all the time they wanted on the ball.

I was thinking this yesterday, he’s not nearly as dominant at winning headers at either end as he probably should be.

He’s off to Everton or Manure depending on who you believe.  £30m.

£30 million? Have they actually watched him?

Going rate I’d say, may sound crazy but £30 mil gets you a decent player but not a great player. Isn’t that just a 5 mil profit for us?

John Stones went for 50m a few years back. Mings for all his faults is way better. He's English too which adds value in a post Brexit world. He's worth every penny of whatever we get for him in an always inflated market. A player we don't have to sell who is on a brand new contract.

A current England international will go for more than £30m.

yes, but he's hardly a regular and his form has dipped noticeably since Southgate selected him

We have to remember though, that our recruitment record is a joke, or, I should say, our coaching of players purchased has been a joke, and other managers will see the opportunity in Mings to get him coached properly, put proper players next to him, and watch him flourish, a la Gueye, Traore, Veretout, Ayew, Stevens, Hogg, Gollini.  I will leave it there because there are so many of them.

Would this be the same Tyrone Mings who has been coached by Dean Smith into the England side and who richer clubs may now want to buy?

I'd sell him - he's ok, but I don't think he's as good as he first appeared.

Concentration  levels far too low to ever be a top defender.

Or was he coached into the England side by John Terry?
