Yes, good to see the Bears on top at last. Norwell is proving to be a good signing with bat and ball.

The weather is probably ruining our chances with only 22 overs bowled before rain took them off. Bears 76-2, a lead of 181.

The weather is dry and the Bears are going for victory against the jazz hats from Surrey.

Surrey are 50-3 off 15.4 overs needing a further 222 to win. Patel has taken all 3 wickets, earlier Batty took 8-64 including a hat trick before Patel declared.

It will be an interesting afternoon, the Bears will be pushing for a win on a turning day 4 Edgbaston pitch. The Bears should be favourites with a draw the next likely result.

Come on you Bears!

93/6 now, Jeets with 5. Only seen a couple of clips on the bears facebook page but the pitch looks like a dream for a spinner, erratic bounce and loads of sideways movement.

A win by 130 runs.
Rikki Clarke did his best to hold us up 51*

Patel will be knackered 62 overs in match with 12 wickets

Well done you Bears! Victory at last. Very good considering top players are still injured.

We seem to have turned a corner, we played well against Somerset even though we lost and dominated Surrey to score a win.

Next up at Edgbaston are Nottinghamshire and that game has the makings of a relegation decider, it’s a must win game.
