I can't see them investing in FC Copenhagen and not having a strong relationship between the 2 clubs. The Pozzo family ownership of  Watford -Udinese-Granada works well.
Lots of mutual benefits.Signing players who might not initially get work permits, the development of young players  and the loaning of players who are not getting enough game time or to solve positional problems at a club.

Please let this be a pile of horse crap. FCK are like a less classy version of Chelsea.

And our possible short term problem of FFP next year if we don't get promoted, could that be avoided by selling a player to FC Copenhagen who then loan him back to us and sharing the costs of European/ worldwide scouts.(the football watching variety). There must be a few other ways of reducing or hiding costs.
Sorry ,VID,there's only one club that's less classy than Chelsea who I'm sure wouldn't commemorate a 3rd round tie with a souvenir key ring and whose club showed their true ambitions in the 70s with a car sticker that proudly oroclaimed them to be "Member of the First Division" *
*For younger readers, the equivalent of the Premier League.

Weren't we about to buy/link up with another Danish a year or so back. Wyness (who he?) was going on about it and we sent a delegation out there. There have been other tales like this as well yet we never seem to end up doing anything. Fairly happy about that as I hate the idea of football conglomerates, but have any of these tie-ins or shared ownerships ever really altered anything?

Would rather have a "relationship" with Vålerenga!

That was Lyngby and I think the interest was genuine enough, there were pictures of Wyness and a couple of other Villa staff at their training ground.  I think two things happened to put the mockers on it.

1. Lyngby got relegated so they were less interesting to deal with.
2. And most importantly Xia ran out of money.

I'm all for this but I'm not sure the standard in Denmark is good enough to help. That said they would almost certainly mean some of our players getting champions league/europa league experience.

Have they got any players worth looking at?

Did I see a video semi-recently where DS went to Denmark in the summer to hook up, and share 'best practice' (vomit), with a partner club that Brentford had a relationship with? Perhaps we've made a cuckold of the whole Brentford operation?

Can't we loan players via them to subvert wage issues that FFP might ordinarily capture?

I.e. Copenhagen sign £9 million defensive midfielder on 60k per week. Said player bank rolled via ownership and loaned to us for buttons?

That Pukki that's done well at Norwich is a decent example of the level at the upper end of the league.

I hope so. Nyland, Taylor, Hutton, Jedinak, Bree, Whelan, Elmohammedy, Hogan  etc are just about ready for them.

The most disastrous British squad to hit Denmark since Nelson and the Royal Navy.
