I can't see them investing in FC Copenhagen and not having a strong relationship between the 2 clubs.The Pozzo family ownership of  Watford -Udinese-Granada works well.
Lots of mutual benefits.Signing players who might not initially get work permits,the development of young players  and the loaning of players who are not getting enough game time or to solve positional problems at a club.

And our possible short term problem of FFP next year if we don't get promoted,could that be avoided by selling a player to FC Copenhagen who then loan him back to us and sharing the costs of European/ worldwide scouts.(the football watching variety).There must be a few other ways of reducing or hiding costs.

There have been other tales like this as well yet we never seem to end up doing anything. That was Lyngby and I think the interest was genuine enough, there were pictures of Wyness and a couple of other Villa staff at their training ground.  I think two things happened to put the mockers on it.

1. Lyngby got relegated so they were less interesting to deal with.
2. And most importantly Xia ran out of money.

Can't we loan players via them to subvert wage issues that FFP might ordinarily capture?

I.e. Copenhagen sign £9 million defensive midfielder on 60k per week. Said player bank rolled via ownership and loaned to us for buttons?
