I think of the 3-0 Man United win, the 4-1 Collymore game and the 4-0 destruction of Everton where Baros got a couple, the first being a handball. 4-4 Vs Chelsea must be up there too though I didn't go to that.
I remember 4-1 v Wet Spam back in the day. Stood on the Witton End in awe of the Holte when the balloons thing was at its peak. Deehan with a couple IIRC and thinking 1978. Someone will no doubt put me right failing which I’ll look it up later.
1975 I think, then more balloons at Derby the following day where we lost 2-0. I think Bruce Rioch was due to play for Derby that day but was injured?
Went to that Derby match in my new Starsky  cardigan. Think we were in the side Pop End and it kicked off through the fence between the fans.

We've won 3 times on boxing day in the last 20 years.

Bony and Routledge to do us. 2-1 them.

Good news! FIFA 19 predicts a 1-0 away win, neat finish from McGinn after 7 minutes. Unfortunately we only draw 1-1 at Preston, we have to come from behind after an absolute howler by Chester.

It is.

Excellent. Thanks. Didn’t think it was on but was just told by a couple of family members that it was, so thought I’d check.

Swansea away is a game i never seem able to attend for lots of various reasons In fact i can only recall going there once That was December 27th 1971 in the 3rd Division  We won 2-1 with Graydon and Aitken scoring  I can not remember much about the game but i do remember all the aggro before and after the game  With our defence we need to score at least 3 to win so i would settle for a draw  Dyer and Routledge are decent wingers so i expect a few goals

Dyer and Routledge are still with them?  Fuxkin hell, they used to destroy us. Hopefully they are slower and shit now.

One of my first away games.
I went by coach, remember a lot of illicit Christmas shopping at the service station. Police stopped the Coach collected back most of the contraband and sent us on our way.

Up early and looking forward to going to the game. I've absolutely no idea about the result. Let's just hope we can score more than them. UTV

Feels like a must win, need 3 points to keep in touch with the top 6. They seem to have a mix of old gits and young players, we should beat them and we will, 1-3 to us with Chester and 2 for Tammy and someone old and shit for them, Routledge say.

Come on you Villa boys

If you offered me a 2-2 draw before this game I would snap your hand off, throw it to the nearest hungry dog and insist on 2-3 to the mighty Villa. Come on! FTF!

This game will tell us as much as the Leeds game did.  I suspect Dean will have been badly hurt by the Leeds defeat and the manner of its happening.  We shall see today if we have put the dressing room fuck you mindset that has plagued the post MON era behind us.  Looks a nailed on hard fought low score draw.
