Post-Match threads will now be archived the day before the next match and not on the day the next Pre-Match thread is started.

Glen Whelan will be the book-end of ten years of purgatory... the last minute equaliser for Stoke and missing that penalty.

I can still see Whelan score that goal in 09. Seem to recall us being 8 points ahead of Arsenal or something similar although they had a couple of games in hand. Carew scored a beauty that day

We would have been 8 pts clear if he hadn't equalized - and Arsenal had no games in hand.

Unless perhaps when we lose in games we should have won and we all want to forget about it and move on.

Good decision, I always thought they disappear too quickly.  I know people can still find them but any thread dies once it is moved.

For the last 10 years we've wanted to forget games as quickly as possible!
