Gone from making bad teams look good to good teams (based on their league position, at least) look bad.

That'll do.
This completely, did we really draw against ten man Ipswich ? Or draw against Preston and Reading  at home ? You couldn’t imagine that right now, thank you Dean and back room team for actually coaching our players.Onwards and upwards.

I've just been perusing that lot.com, and in particular their Villa match thread (they seem to have one for every match we play).

It's worth a look. There's some begrudging praise there. Days like today must be fucking awful (I say 'must be' because I'm only 50, so I've never actually experienced a situation where Blues are significantly better than us for any period of time).

It's lovely, I urge any of you to take a look. They've won two convincingly since last Sunday and still all that matters is us.

I reckon with the TV audience more noses were watching us live tonight than their own team.

Great win tonight. Much nicer being a Villa fan under Dean Smith.  At times against Boro, it was too easy. Hopefully, we don't get too arrogant and carried away, we are not Wolves fans after all.  Please don't let this be a temporary thing. It's been magic watching us recently.

Still work to do though: remember we only drew against a 10 man Forest last Wednesday...

I feel honoured. We have our own thread on SHA forum: Headed "Vile" They're grudgingly admitting that we're a class above this league and going up. Have a read on their site......

It's their No.1 thread on a day they've won 3-0.

Bless their obsessed hearts.

Sky commentator 'Aston Villa have bought their show to Teeside and Middlesborough reluctantly have front row seats.'  Superb.

All we had to do to be good was sack Steve Bruce apparently. Who knew?

As much as I wanted him gone, and believe me I really did right after the playoff final, I still also get why in the end he was kept on. That said I think they got rid of him in time. A game or two sooner would have been nicer, but things happen for a reason. We can now sees light. It’s very bright and very appealing.

Dean Smith, Aston Villa fan, manager of the club he loves, and bloody ace at his job has a nice sound to it.

That's not quite right though, is it?

We could have employed Pards or one of the other Sultans of Ming and spent the rest of the season making excuses.

I may be biased but Liam Rosenior is a wonderful pundit.

And

Aston Villa are playing some wonderful exciting football under the guidance of Dean Smith

Its fast becoming apparent that Glenn Whelan missing the penalty against Preston is probably his finest achievement

Glen Whelan will be the book-end of ten years of purgatory... the last minute equaliser for Stoke and missing that penalty.
