I know its early days but i am starting to have some doubts about our new manager. Why Whelan again, why not Jedinak or Lansbury ?  Whelan was dreadful the other night as usually is the case
It's early days.

I didn't think Whelan was dreadful the other night and he's probably more mobile the Jedi. Can't recall Whelan giving the ball away at Norwich unlike some of the team tonight.

I've nothing against Smith yet. But on that logic it's very hard to disagree with you.

They're all shite though, really, aren't they.
It's Hobson's choice, which is why he might as well pick a couple of kids and give them some opportunities.

We’re so wasteful, Hutton and Taylor kill us. Chester is bloody hopeless at the moment too.

What are our forwards doing?
Not a lot but we lack speed and movement.
Thanks ChicagoLion

Moves to be added next week, hopefully

If it was for the dodgy keeper, car crash defence, ineffective midfield and wasteful strikers, we'd be a really good side.

The defence look scared of the keeper, the keeper looks scared of the defence, the midfield look scared to play a through ball to the strikers, and the strikers seem scared to shoot, other than Kodjia, who is scared to give the ball to a team mate rather than try to beat 6 men himself.

James Chester is at best a number two defender. He’s not good enough to be the key figure in the defence and sure as shit isn’t captain material.

Well Dean now we will see what you are made of

It will take a lot more than two weeks to fix this shit

I know and I’m sure when he gets a chance to coach it will be fine. But right now he needs to lay down the law

The likes of QPR and the Blues are winning games by grafting. We have 70% of the half. Their keeper has not saved a shot. They had 4 one was a goal.

Some on here are a little melodramatic. We are playing well and then one horrendous error. As for why whelan and not Jedi the simple fact is he can’t pass more than five yards to his own player. All to play for and we will score.

Because he wants energetic midfielders and you have to say that Mile is not one of those. As for Lansbury, it's been so long since he played I have no idea what he is.

Because whelan and jedinak are both over the hill  so it doesn't really matter who you pick and lansbury can't do thejob? I'm not surprised he's gone for Bjarnason but i'm not sure he's the answer long term

Afraid that was down to Chester

I don't agree - the guy who scored was their right winger and was therefore behind Chester so he couldn't see him.

On the other hand Neil Taylor was stood next to him when the ball was played and chose to stand still watching the ball rather than track his man.

100% Taylor's fault that goal.
The ball was played straight down the middle, agree If Taylor was supposed to be marking him, i can only guess they left it to each other.
Fucking appalling defending.
