Great video.  I too wondered about the boxes they looked like shelter for workforce or tender turf. It was very hot during the relaying period. As regards the performance of the pitch I think the ball seems to drag on it but at the end of the day it’s the same for both teams.

Thanks for that. It was more interesting to watch than most of the first team matches over the last few seasons.

I guess they are the machines that 'sew' in the artificial threads into it - I'm sure it's a grass pitch with artificial threads to hold it together.
