Ha brillant! Thanks for posting... didn't realise how much is involved.
-
Strangely beguiling!
-
Hoping to see some football played on it this Saturday.

Excellent stuff. Deserving of great football. No more pearls to pigs, thank you very much.
-
Fascinating! Thanks for posting.

Only watched on a phone, but what were those shoe boxes that laid the turf?
-
Great video. I too wondered about the boxes they looked like shelter for workforce or tender turf. It was very hot during the relaying period. As regards the performance of the pitch I think the ball seems to drag on it but at the end of the day it’s the same for both teams.

UV grow lighting?

That is ace. I am a nerd.

Thanks for that. It was more interesting to watch than most of the first team matches over the last few seasons.
-
I liked all the muck spreading!
Looked like enormous fun at that speed.

I guess they are the machines that 'sew' in the artificial threads into it - I'm sure it's a grass pitch with artificial threads to hold it together.

It definitely used to be.

Does anyone know how long that actually took?

Reminds me what a great summer we had.

Actual days, you could count the number of times the sun came up and travelled across. If you could be arsed
But ... there were weekends!
And at least 1 bank holiday.
So.
There was a crowd at the end which would give you a date. :)
