The statement on the Club website states it will be broadcast  live on Sky.

Given the staggered kick off times I assume it will be.

I'm not sure. Sky don't like showing two matches together. They might just pick another match on the Sunday instead.

Edit: Seems it was TNT for the other one. We are being shown as on Sky along with the Walsall second leg.

This site is usually on the ball.

Chelsea Man U on Sky, too, according to Chelsea website, I just checked. They've delayed the kick-off because of our game.

Not great to set a precedent but it’ll be interesting to see what happens in the future should other teams request similar.
If we win against Bournemouth it’ll then give us the chance to apply pressure on the teams around us by beating Spurs on the Friday which will be an advantage. Selfishly I forgot to get a ticket for it and it was sold out (GA) a few days ago, managed to snag a return now!

I was going on Sky's own website. (Albeit being wrong as they definitely had the Friday match originally).

https://www.skysports.com/watch/football-on-sky/competitions/premier-league

They only have our match showing for Prem fixtures and for all matches, they have us and Walsall second leg. Surprised Sky have failed to mention Manure or Chelsea suddenly. They can't stop themselves usually.

GA tickets can be refunded no later than 72 hours in advance.

I'd not seen this until an hour or so ago (engrossed in the Inter - barca game), but when I read the news I was FUMING. Here's one story (and it won't be the only one), which I think should reflect how fans of the game are repeatedly and consistently abused by the powers that be. I'm a lifetime ST holder, well into my seventies, looking forward to the last home game of the season, which is always special; living in London so Sunday's not great but manageable. Got my train tickets. Wife and I will be in Spain until the Saturday, a break which she reluctantly agreed to cut short so we could come back on the Saturday (even though she has some important stuff to do over there in a short time), enabling me to attend a pretty special day when you get the chance to say goodbye to your VP mates till next season and join in all the fun associated with last home games - no warning in the previous home game to do that. So, holiday break messed up (for two people), train tickets messed up (I hope I get a refund), last home game messed up - all at ten days notice. The level of disrespect is unbelievable, even for the Premier League. And the worst thing is that all you can do is rant and rave to yourself, against the wall, because none of the people who make these decisions give a flying fuck.
Rant over (but upset state not over).

Well said, Martyn, and there are, no doubt,  many supporters who are in the same metaphorical boat.

We should not forget, either, the aggravation caused to the match day staff, many of them juggling their lives thanks to the great new "gig" economy, who have been similarly shafted.

Villa should have refused, there is no precedent for this.
It’s all well and good saying there has been prejudice, (which constitutes a legal violation ) but not acting upon it is a betrayal.
I am another who can no longer go to the last game of the season.
Ask yourselves would Liverpool,Chelsea , Manure or Citeh or even Spurs rolled over? Would they fuck.

You'd like us to forfeit the game? Not sure that would be sensible.

Whether the game was on the Sunday or the Friday, Spurs won't be playing many, if any, of their first choice players. So the argument that they need 2 extra days will be nonsense.

Villa didn't have a choice in this other than which day it was moved to, this was imposed by the PL.

There's no evidence whatsoever that we rolled over. I'm sure we objected as much as we could but with Man Utd in the equation, it made things more complicated.

The Friday actually suits me better but that's not to say it isn't an utter disgrace to leave the change until now. Many will be inconvenienced and left out of pocket if they've booked rail tix.

Shameful, but we are only the people who pay for it all.

I also live in London, and 'm not being funny but were the trains booked for a 7pm kick off on the Sunday (which is what we were going to have due to Forest taking the 1415 slot)? There's only one train back to London after that, slightly worse than the Friday with two, although both are glacial.

The Avanti off peak easement on a Friday means that leaving London on the 1740 should make the match, without leaving work early.

We've had matches moved at similar notice this season (Cardiff springs to mind), without close to the hubbub. Is it just that people didn't read the notice properly and thought it was 1415? Do people really love Sunday night kick offs? Do people like Man United enough that we think its good to give them an advantage now? Have we all forgotten the Liverpool away match being moved to a Saturday 8pm to give us extra rest after Leipzig?
