The point here isn’t the request per se, it’s that they made a very late change that accommodate Spurs but didn’t allow us the same courtesy. Double standards.

The general consensus is we are under no obligation to move the game under FA rules if I am correct, if that is so, the club have to take responsibility for allowing it

If the Premier League tell us we are playing on a given date, our choices are limited to playing the game or forfeiting the match and points (and probably incurring an additional points deduction in the process). We can advise the Premier League of our preferences but we have no say whatsoever if they choose to ignore them.
Given Sawiris has already hinted in interviews his frustration that the Premier League likes to cater for a chosen few, I really hope this doesn't make them think about selling up.
