Confirmed on prAVda

https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2025/may/06/New-date-for-Tottenham-Hotspur-fixture/

The Prem's caved in to the Cockernee tossers.

Dangerous precedent set for next season.

It's certainly an interesting precedent. In the event that we qualify for the Europa League, you can pretty much guarantee we will have a Champions League team the weekend before the scheduled final so there's no way they can move our game forward.

I actually don't blame Spurs here, the fuck up was allowing the Chelsea game to be moved to the Friday in the first place.

They were absolutely right to move the Chelsea game so people can attend the Women's Final. The big fuck up was not having the (men's) cup final last game of the season like it has been for most of the previous century. All the problems disappear if that had been arranged properly.

I don't blame them either, they made a reasonable request given their circumstances.

The people to blame are the ones who didn't tell them to piss like they have done on every other occasion.

I wonder if Chelsea will request that their last game gets moved. Hopefully, would give Man U one less day to recover from their final if they move all of them.

If it wasn't a European final involving two English clubs, they probably would have told them to go swivel like when we asked for the Liverpool match to be moved.

For the last game of the season that would be absolutely rubbish; utterly disrespectful to fans and unfairly advantageous to the oppo.

I hope the fuckers will appreciate this and play their actual final team as none of them will want to pick up a little knock or pulled hamstring.

On a tangent, it used to be the rule that if your first game of the season was at home then your last game would be away, and vice versa. They should bring that back. Then we could still have our end of season events rather than having our final home game played on a weeknight every year.

I think we've been asking to play first and last games away for the last few years though haven't we, to do work on the ground and set up for the summer concerts.  Suspect we are going to be away at start and end of the season for the next few years too with the work on the North Stand.

But..but last season final home game was moved to Monday evening because it suited us, we had a semifinal trip to Athens prior Thursday.

Spurs probably implied they'd play the youth team if the game wasn't moved.

I hope we kick the living daylights out of them.

They all seem to think Matty Cash is the new Chopper Harris so lets just let him work his magic on them!
