This really is an horrific example of everything wrong with Premier League and Murdoch media greed. At a time when so many are feeling the pinch aswell, when going to games or even gathering in large groups in pubs isn't possible.

Little rivers it will be.

Where this seems to fall down is that the ‘chosen ones’ who are regularly on Sky/BT, their games will be available to their fans if they have Sky or BT sports.  The rest of us, who pay the same subscriptions, will have to pay extra. Bastards.

The cynic in me thinks that they might start to change the matches around and share the coverage a bit more, now that the "extra" matches can be changed for.  If you were driven by money, who would you rather be asking £15 of to watch their team in a match that isn't covered by the normal subscription - Burnely fans, or Man Utd fans?

Make Man U fans pay more. Those ****** only ever watch games from their armchairs anyway.

Do you need a BT subscription to get BT Box Office? Or would that just be a one off, too?

Same as Sky I think. Please check with your provider.

Remember when we used to say, naively in hindsight, that they wanted crowds inside the ground because audiences preferred atmosphere?

£15 for a game - they’re having a laugh.

Sticks in the throat a little in a week where it is reported that the billionaires and huge corporations have seen profits significantly rise during the pandemic.

You could almost think there was another driving force behind the misey ???

As for supporters in stadiums I said from the start sky at all couldn't give a toss and it does not effect the overseas subscriptions.

Look how quickly that got tv football back on the agenda, even when players are now regulary testing positive.

It stinks

If it helped the whole of the game or lower league clubs from laying off office staff etc, then great.  But we all know it wont.

There is, it's a plot by the CCP to destroy football in Europe and the Americas to ensure the supremacy of the Chinese Super League.

£15 seems a bit much when were we to be on 'normal' Sky it'd only be a tenner for a day pass and you might get 3 other PL games for it.

Yep, does the monopolies commission still exist?!
Surely this will just push people into pubs (or each other’s homes), or will they need a different licence in theory?
