Huge mistake not getting rid of Bruce in the summer.  Even a complete novice like Henry would have had us playing better football and higher in the league than this.

With hindsight I would now agree with that.

Stop it.

We'll be fine.

I believe we will, we will bounce back but it's going to take serious money and a really good manager to pull this of.

The trouble is FFP is going to severely restrict how much we can spend on improving the squad. It's turning into a complete clusterfuck

No surprise today, in fact the only surprise was going a goal up after 7 mins.
Make no mistake we would have also lost today if Bruce was still in charge. A shambles of a defence and a midfield and attack lacking in confidence is Bruce's legacy. That said why leave Kodjia and bolasie on the bench today when they have 6 goals between them this season.
To the old boys media network coming out in support of Bruce, f-ck right off and keep your f-cking gobs shut cause all you are doing is demonstrating your own f-cking ignorance.
Looking forward to a positive managerial appointment in the next 2 weeks, otherwise we are in deep sh-t. Even if the appointment is good he has a hell of a job on his hands after the mess Bruce has left us in.
UTV always!

Villa Loyal on his way home.

We were a true disgrace today.

Millwall played well. But all you have to do to win against Villa these days is battle and lob the ball into the box.

The players seem to have forgotten this is the championship not the premier league.

Defence including the keeper are wank.

Our lowest ebb yet ?!

Good lord that was awful 2nd half.

The good news is though we're being held back till 17:31 and it's pissing it down.

At least it's not snowing this time.

Another season at this level passing us by I'm afraid.

Look at that table and it's embarrasing we're in the bottom half. Heck we're only a point above SHA and they've hardly won a game all season.

Sad thing is the way it's gone since 2010 means I'd actually be surprised when we do start playing well and winning regularly.

Blues have won one less game than us.  With a transfer embargo.  I know we all hate them but at the moment I would take Monk in a heartbeat given what he has already achieved there.

They've been mismanaged undoubtedly, and the confidence has drained away, but maybe our players aren't as good as we think they are.  And maybe the other sides in the division aren't as shite as we think they are.
I think this is bang on. Many of the players we've signed have been completely overhyped as being the best player in the Championship in their respective position or the best passer or the best striker. We've been taken for a ride.

poor decisions and signings by the new owners have come home to roost. It's a big job now for the new management and it will be a long hard season. could get even messier if we can't get a big fee for Grealish in Jan

Utter bellend on BBC Sport website: "Greg's Goals: 2018-19 average points; with Bruce: 1.44 per game. Without Bruce: 0.00 per game. Just shows how much those cabbage throwing 'fans' know about the game."

We ain’t getting relegated.

But, the job is too big, and the problems are too deep for a novice manager.
Do we need someone who knows the game inside out and understands the championship?😉

I didn't see it, but it sounds like when the boss is away and you know you don't have to work too hard to impress anybody.
At least we know change is coming.

Yes. Maybe someone who has experience of promotions would help 🤪
