Stop it.

We'll be fine.

I believe we will, we will bounce back but it's going to take serious money and a really good manager to pull this of.

Why the fuck did we start with a fucking right back out wide and a fucking left sided central player wide. Fucking shit.

And a right back in the centre of defence.

Shambles.  Bruce should be horsewhipped then tarred and feathered for leaving us in this state.

What were the other options at CB out of interest?

There's a lack of direction at the club and that's filtered through to the players in recent weeks so have a caretaker in who has no chance of getting the job full time (thankfully) and dosen't really shock me the players didn't match Millwall's workrate.

I'm convinced Bruce deliberately sabotaged that defence to make sure he'd get the push and compo. Goalkeepers worse than the one we had last season and worse than the one we've loaned out; failure to replace our best player knowing full well he was leaving at the end of the season; loaning out Elphick and De Laet so there's no cover anywhere. The new manager has a hell of a task sorting that out with little prospect of bringing anyone in any time soon. Yet another season of consolidate and rebuild for next season. I've forgotten what it's like to enjoy football.

What I would give for just one enjoyable season. This club does nothing but give me anxiety and indigestion. It's a drag anymore.

This squad is not good enough. Forget how good our forward line might be, our defense and midfield are a long way off. Whoever the new man is, he has one hell of a job to turn this shit around.

Another season at this level passing us by I'm afraid.

Look at that table and it's embarrasing we're in the bottom half. Heck we're only a point above SHA and they've hardly won a game all season.

Sad thing is the way it's gone since 2010 means I'd actually be surprised when we do start playing well and winning regularly.

Bruce has stuffed us this year by clinging on when he wasn’t up to the job whilst ruining our squad in the transfer window. Even if we have some defenders and a decent manager in January it’ll be too late.

Only way we can keep in touch with the top 6 is getting more out of Grealish and the attackers and winning a game like today 3-2.

If you look at many of the teams in the top 6 not many of them keep clean sheets. As I keep saying West Brom only kept 1 all season but they regularly score 2-3 a game and well that's more than enough at this level usually.

the priority right now is to stay up - we're beginning to look like Sunderland. And please no more of the best squad in the league shit. We have the most unbalanced yes, that's all.

The new manager needs to get a grip these players get away with murder

No effort no desire we’re not a team just a rabble of individuals

Gutless grealish needs to stop prancing around and lead this team. Affect the game make a difference.

The selection was totally negative 👎

A huge job on his hands whoever the new manager will be

I think the majority of us called it in the pre-match poll. Non-existant defence, unbalanced midfield, confidence destroyed. Not surprising result is it? Massive massive mistake not getting rid of Bruce in the summer. 9 points off 2nd so i think automatic promotion has gone now given the new manager can't be doing anything about the squad till January. Need to take our time now, get the right guy, who can sort out the team, see if we can cancel some of the loans, get others in, maybe look at the bombsquad and buy a couple in January. If we do that then a Play-off place is still realistic i reckon.

I think we need to take stock.
Today was always going to be dead rubber. I am sure the players (the poor loves) are a bit shell shocked after seeing ‘the gaffer’ going.
K MAC is not the man to instill passion and drive into this team, and as he said his job is to keep things ticking over and make sure the players are able to wipe their arses and get themselves dressed.
We can’t and shouldnt expect anything better until a new man comes in.

But, that needs to happen quickly and I really don’t think it can be someone learning their trade.

Would have been the same outcome with Bruce on the bench. The fact we have no defence to speak of is his legacy.

We have some decent players but we don't have anything like a team.

So plainly obvious that the great team spirit of last season was generated by Terry and Snodgrass and not the "boss".

With Chester injured (No need to mention Jedinak, he's not a defender) and the lack of any other first team central defenders - wouldn't it be sensible to play the pairing from our second team? Players that know each other.

I don't blame the caretaker manager today, it's all down to fistface.
But he can happily leave too.as he's proved what a c**t he is.

Get a decent manager in, and let's move on.

I still cant get my head round why we loan a player like Axel from another club and loan out one of our  own in RDL , who I think is a much better player and more experience .

Seems a stupid thing to do .

Bolasie, el Ghazi, Tammy and Kodjia could easily be the most potent attacking four in this division. Wish I could include Jack in that but he literally doe nothing but get chopped down in the middle of the park. He invites it and gets it every time.

Huge mistake not getting rid of Bruce in the summer.  Even a complete novice like Henry would have had us playing better football and higher in the league than this.
