I don't fault the ref for not giving Maupay a red, he's clearly not seen it so it'll be a retrospective ban.

Brilliant performance, their goal aside.  Love this team again.  The refereeing in this league is pitiful.  That ****** standing on SJM, HOW did he miss that?

We are far superior in all departments. Go for the jugular Villa.

Loved the first half performance, loads of pace, energy and a few chances. Haven't seen that for a while from a Villa team.
Hope that was our poor half.

It sounded like a crackin' first half (although I am listening on Talkshite 2). Hopefully we'll pick up where we left off after the break. :)

Did the ref really just blow for half time there? Utterly ridiculous.

Excellent performance going forward. Kodjia has been great with a stormer of a goal.

Poor defending for their goal although Im sure that Tuanzebe got a little nudge from Watkins to create the space. Not sure why he didn't protest it?

As for that dirty ****** Maupey, lets get 2 or 3 goals up and then send on someone dispensible to give him a taste of his own medicine.

Second half will be interesting. Do you back Smith to motivate his troops or will Stevie boy fuck it up?

Thank god the ref never sent him off. We're shit against 10 men.

Good half, great pressing, just need Albert and Jack to give Kodja more support in the box. Albert needs to come in more and give himself the option of going wide rather than keeping the linesman company.
