Good news is we’re winning when not playing well. Bad news is we’re not playing well

Fancy us to beat Ipswich.

Brentford will be a big test. Our bogey team down here and they outplayed Stoke at the Bet365 (Stoke look like they're going to have our 16/17 season).

Need a couple of loans in before that game I think.

Sounds like a typical SB win, not easy on the eye, but 3 points none the less. There must come a time where he realises he must start using round pegs in round holes though.

Did OK and put himself about.  Nearly got through but was stopped by an excellent last ditch tackle.

He did that most of last season and people said he should've rotated more!

Today was unnecesary though, when I saw the 11 I assumed it would Axel-Chester at the back and Jedi as DM so no idea why he tinkered. AEM should'nt have been playing out wide right with Green on the pitch and Adomah on the bench.

Despite some calamitous defending, I think we deserved the win as we created the better chances and more of them, although it helped that Wigan didn't really shut up shop and also took off Powell for some reason.

We were better when Elmo switched to RB as Tuanzebe showed no improvement from last season. Bjarnason redeemed a lack lustre show with the drive and desire to get on the end of that cross.

Let's hope the keeper settles in quickly after a shaky display. The defence needs to have confidence and vice versa.

We're gonna win the league!

I have just looked at the Championship table (sad I know at this stage of the season) and we are second. But how come Boro, who are top have played an extra game as have Forest, Albion and Sheffield United?

Id try tuanzebe at centre back, jedinak seems so slow and a liability waiting to happen, grealish is so far ahead of anyone out there in talent, hutton continues to amaze me as the scottish cafu, grealish and the scottish zidane were the top performers today

I think to be fair if we’d got Bryan we would have seen him left back Chester and Tuanxebe in the middle and Hutton right back so after plans need to be changed hard to criticise too much until the loan window is exhausted and see what we end up with.

Just home through the Site of Ancient Roadworks sometimes called the M6/A14.

McGinn is going to be our next £30 million sale.  Very impressed.  Not so the new goalkeeper but will put it down to nerves after being shafted by Jedinak.  Mile is NOT a back four player.  He is too error prone.  As a stopper in midfield his mistakes are not terminal.  His best role is to mix it with the opposition trying to break Jack's legs.

All in all a Classic.  One for the memory bank.

Fantastic to see us get a 94th minute winner! Many had already gone around us.

McGinn was MOTM for me, all action, shots, assists, crunching tackles. A star in the making here, hopefully.

Have to say, I thought Wigan looked brighter and sharper than us. Their guy who missed that guilt edged header should have won the game for them. I had hands to my head every time we were messing around at the back.

I just wish we could inject some pace into what we do. Our build up play is painful at times. At least when RHM came on he caused them problems unlike Kodjia, an absolute shadow of what he was.

Anyways, Karma for their keeper who was wasting time for at least 30 minutes and was clearly being told by their manager to slow the game down. Seemed strange to me as they could have easily won it.

Oh, and the referee was abysmal, again. Six points from six!
