It'd be funny if he failed his Fulham medical.

If you had no affiliation for a club, had the chance to play in the premiership, with the hype that goes with it, after playing in a lower league, of course you would take it

If it's true, you can't blame him too much really. I just hope it backfires on him and Fulham come straight back down.

Not the point imo. If he was at the negotiating stage I would agree. But he's done the equivalent of prick teasing our club. He made an agreement. Our club must've put a lot of time and effort into satisfying his demands. Once a player has passed a medical and agreed personal terms that should be binding. For all we know he's just used us as bait to alert a premier club.

As identified by Bruce, we need a good creative wing back for the left hand side. Running out of time now, so perhaps a loan to buy deal could be struck with someone.

No point feeling bitter the lure of premier league games etc.....I am sure we’ll treat him to some Unsworth type welcome when we meet again.

BRYAN. No contract signed or pix taken. Sadly Bruce did not chase him either. Much as I wish he had. What a mad day.

Sadly, all is fair in the football transfer window. Afterall we hi-jacked Boro’s deal for him.

We need to accept that the lure of playing in the PL will always be an issue for us until we get back there. Bryan probably saw Villa as a move to a big club and a step up, but a move to the PL an even bigger step up despite it being Fulham. In years gone by it was all about the club, now it's all about the PL which emboldens the likes of Fulham and Watford. Let's not be bitter, let's hope that in 14 months time Bryan comes to a full Villa Park with Fulham and wonders what might've been.

of course, but I wouldn't want a player who changed his mind on the possibility of interest from Fulham if another deal they're working on doesn't come off. Twat writ large.

In 14 months Fulham will be back in the  second division so won’t be playing them😊

I agree with your point on how transfers should be, but until he signs the contract he can talk to other clubs. He has the choice and he may have have decided to go to another club and play in the premiership, that’s up to him and if I’m honest, I understand that. I agree with you though on how transfers should be

Bit harsh on our European Cup winning captain. ;)
