He was sensible.  He knew instantly it wasn't something you could just run off.

McGinn seems to be able to increase his level to natch the players around him. A rare talent.

One of his best games for the club. Fulham at home last season stands out but today matched it. He kicked everything that moved. In build up to our second he won a crucial 50/50 that got us playing.

McGinn central is still underrated. I think because he's played so much out wide in last two years people think that's the only role he can do now but he showed end of last season for Arsenal away he can still do a good job centrally when required.

Still very much got a role to play for us for the next 18 months even if it perhaps won't be as a week in week out starter anymore if we could get everyone fit.

First choice next to Kamara when he's playing like that.

SJM, what a legend. He was my MoM today.

Would love to see him lift a trophy.

I thought McGinn and Tielemans in central midfield were as good in the game earlier as they were in that Arsenal away game last season.

When he's on form, McGinn's ability to turn players in tight spaces and open play up is a real asset.

He brings the fight and the physicality in midfield more than anyone else. Great leader.

Just need him to keep exercising that gluteus maximus for a couple more years at least. The rest of his body will follow.

Brilliant yesterday all be it was up against a weak midfield he was head and shoulders above any Spurs player and was a proper captain
Actually would have him as player of the match for his determination, attitude and way he inspires rest of our team
Super Ginny!

With all the clamour and hype surrounding the new signings who all did really well, McGinn was still MOTM

McGinn and Kamara first names on the team sheet for me both irreplaceable
