And people scoffed at Dublin trip.
Well I championed McGinn to start but he's really looking like a non starter
Under football.

You also insisted Grealish wouldn't start. Why don't you stop trying to be a know all?

To be fair, people probably type Trent because they can’t be arsed with typing his surname. I know I did on perhaps one occasion I wanted to say something about him.

It's a fair point but I don't recall anyone calling Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink just 'Jan'.

Ok sorry. I was wrong on that interesting to see how they both do today.
Sad to see him against us.

Or even more efficient, "Of"

Why is Moreno not starting then, especially as Emery bought him? Did he go on an imagined drinking spree to a European capital as well?

Had a three course lunch then fell asleep during Thursday afternoon's seminar on 'optimising transitions', Emery was livid.

Since then, I've learned that McGinn's trip was with his fiancée, so it was probably less boisterous. However, I wonder if McGinn would have been better off staying home to get back to fitness or if travelling to see some Spanish culture in order to get closer to El Maestro.

I have given Moreno some thought now you ask, so perhaps he is adjusting to his new home and all the family arrangements so he won't always be fully ready to play the full 90 minutes so we have Digne and they shared duties because say Moreno has to be excused for a team meeting but not for lunches as they either have own chef and the club provide meals in the complex. Nutritionist are on hand but more for the settling in period. We have a luxury of having two left backs. The Moreno family are all settling in so maybe Emery is giving him that sort of space and time.

Things like that need to be considered, especially for a new signing in the middle of the season. Also he can catch up with Emery over tapas and all in Spanish too so will be at an advantage.
I mean I don't know full picture of course.

Many football players nap in the afternoon though. Furthermore, it need not originate from siestas culture as players here in England have a sleep or massage after training. I would not be liking a player who is falling asleep at a team briefing that's really unprofessional but surely that's unlikely.

Ah, napping in the afternoon, no wonder we aren't winning games.

He's Spanish and they love their siestas, don't they? Hopefully one of aspect of Spanish culture that SJM doesn't take on board.

So you reckon he's a gentle lover then, and not a fan of the sort of thing Stefan Postma was into?

I don't know what's going here with this Postma theme, but no doubt we'll get to the bottom of it soon enough.
