What a useless fat knacker he is. Abysmal passing as per usual, and sod all else useful. Why is he still getting a game? Got nearly as much abuse as Gerrard and was booed off when subbed.

He's an absolute waste of fucking space.

That diving header was one of the worst things I've seen on a pitch in a long time.

He's absolutely shit, not good enough for this level, yet is first name on the team sheet week in, week out.

That was three and a half years ago. Did you see his abysmal attempt at a diving header in front of an open goal. Useless.

We all saw it and your pathetic comment too. Criticise the player fine but unless it's someone in the McCormack, Gabby, Richards ilk, throwing slurs at them ain't on.

You disappear for six weeks then come back and attack our captain? How dare you.
Club captain  Ashley Young. I showered with praise. Thank you.

I'll be sure to take your feedback seriously and have given it to the relevant department to action.

To clarify, Footy, I was joking. Good to see you back.

Any clips of the McGinn header/avoid the right foot at all costs?

I watched the first-half in Waxy O'Connors near Lesta Square as I had a ticket for a film at the London Film Festival. Quickly finshed a bottle of Modelo on half-time and made it for the 20.50 start. Turned my phone back on at 22:30 and just knew I hadn't missed anything in the game!

Couldn’t see any but there is this, ‘I know, I’ll head it!” still

I was going to add a tweeted meme response with Gordon Ramsey losing the will to live, but instead, I’ll look forward to the Villa podcast tomorrow to see how many categories wee Johnny makes it into. http://linktr.ee/thevillapodcast

John McGinn was awful last night wasn’t he. Certainly looks like he could do without the captains armband

Took the armband off a player unaffected by wearing it, so he could concentrate on his game, and given to a player already struggling that now looks like he's playing with an albatross hanging around his neck.

He's lost all dynamism, he's hesitant and seems to lose every 50-50 tackle too, before we even talk about the state of his passing. That bloody first time chip ball to the back post he keeps trying as well, never works and the opposition can see it a mile off

A new manager needs to give Mings the arm band back and drop McGinn. Then deal with all the noise that’ll create.

I personally think Mings has been better and more focused  since the captaincy was taken off him.

It won't create any noise. That's the thing, I think everyone, McGinn included, knows it too.

He was fine before it was done, he just hasn't let it affect him because he's a top pro and a first class human being.
