As it happens I am serious - and our best player up to Christmas was irrefutably Albert who had bagged a lot of goals to keep us in the running. Do you actually go to games? Johnstone was bang average - no better than Gollini - and his distribution was lamentable for a professional footballer. He was guaranteed to lose us possession every time he kicked the ball. Get real.

Johnstone was very good for us last season and was way better than Gollinni who if memory serves me right cost us a few points in those early games he played in. Oh and telling someome who has a differnet opinion to you to 'get real' is a bit naff really.

Johnstone was excellent last season throughout and the half season before after he'd settled in. My only critisism of him is choosing to join Olbyiun, he clearly needs advise with his life choices but there was very little to pick at with his goalkeeping. Pretty much a top half Premier League GK already.

That is why he joined Albion then, no PL teams interested!
Probably slightly above average championship goalkeeper, doesn't command his area at all and his kicking is pretty poor but shot shopping pretty good!

harsh i think. I certainly weren't crapping myself that he was playing for us the last 2 seasons, and i'd rather have had him in goal the season we went down. Maybe a top half premier 'keeper is pushing it a bit but deffo good enough for the premier.. Thing is, once you're in the premier. more experienced international 'keepers are available for the same or less money.

Is the reason we haven't seen or heard anything about this goalkeeper, the same reason small heath are crapping themselves about a player they signed, but cannot get registered yet I.E an embargo due to FFP?

Looking like he hasn't officially signed yet which explains why there has been no announcement.

It wouldn't have anything to do with fair play because we're safe for another 10 months or so.  We can spend/loan what we like this window, provided it all balances out by the end of this coming financial year.

Yes, indecision is a big fucking weakness for a goalkeeper.

It’s being suggested in some places that Woodburn and Moreira will be announced in the next 48 hours.

My Sporting-supporting colleague just told me that Moreira is a pile of shit. So bad that even Sporting weren’t interested in him, and they’re shitter than us at the moment
