The Small Heath games will always be on a Sunday. We should be used to it by now.

I'm aware of that. So they shouldn't be arranged before a Tuesday midweek game. We shouldn't be disadvantaged because the police move our games.

When both sets of fans decide to behave, it will be on at a more convenient time. Until then, it's 12am on a Sunday. I can't see it changing anytime soon though.

Yes. So put the following match on a Wednesday, not Tuesday.

Which they very possibly will.

Would Forest agree to it though knowing they would be at an advantage of an extra days rest?

Nothing like the new fixtures to focus the mind. The excitement was ended by Hull away on a Monday night though. Nice planning there by the EFL

Norwich away midweek as well.

Oh well. Roll on August let's get on with it

Hopefully, but I think it's Forest's choice, as they are the home team. I remember a few years ago playing Blose on Sunday then having to play at Wigan on a Tuesday. If I was Forest I would want every possible advantage, as Dave Whelan presumably did.

Some good days out in September if Sky can leave them the fuck alone.

Not helped by the fact that no interesting new teams came up from League 1 or down from the Premier League

Anyway, cba with Hull away on a Monday night... so may as well offer two references now if anyone wants them.

Maybe, but in any case the fixture compilers don't have a say in which night midweek games are played.

Our first one will probably be Ipswich, if it's not moved.

I really don’t like Monday night games. It always feels like the weekend football takes place without us and the new season will feel feel like it’s starting without us.

Maybe it will...

I see it differently.

I see nothing to fear in the league and a good chance to hit the ground running in August.

I'm upset that I'll miss the Rotherham & Sheff Wed home games due to holiday but with my luck as it is, I had accepted that I'd be missing 2 games as soon as I booked the holiday.

The aways don't look great but I'm sure as the season plays out, they will just be like any other season.  The last 4 aways in April look good and will be even better if we're fighting for promotion at that stage.
