If we can't get excited on the day two billionaires invest in our club then we never will! As a Wolves fan said to me just though "Hope they are better than the American and Chinese Billionaires you had before"

Good old Wolves fans. They'll be gutted bless them

FFP remains. Will it be a case of cutting the costs this season and then going for it next?

I can imagine seeing a few half built cardboard claret and blue coffins being taken down the local Small Heath tip now!! :)

I might have missed something but I'm wondering why 2 apparently unconnected tycoons are joining forces? Each could afford to buy the club according to reports. Not looking for negatives. It's really exciting and if they're serious it's up to us to fill the ground to the rafters and roar them back to the prem.

Erm, we did that last season home and away.

He’s right to suggest caution. Of course it means we can keep the lights on and pay the tax bill but after what we have been through over recent years I will be reserving judgement for a while yet.

Be interesting to see if they look to fill the holes left by the sackings over the summer.

Glad financial ruin is staved off for now. I'm still reluctant to get too excited as FFP is still the elephant in the room so I can't see this resulting in us keeping the likes of Grealish, or being able to spend real money in the transfer market again. Xia also remains and his nominal title as 'co-Chairman' irks me greatly as we'll still have to put up with his smug little face about the place.

BUT onwards and upwards. Thank God we've survived and administration is no longer an immediate concern.

UTV!

As much as Dr Xia played his part in getting us into this mess, hats off to him for playing his part in getting in this investment. Not saying it's Shinawatra handing it off to the Mansour's but given where we were just 24 hours ago, it feels like it.

I was just thinking about how quick it's happened and although he got us into the mess, Tony got his arse into gear and tried to sort it, although he needed to.
