I mean it’s very apparent that we desperately need him to sell.
That is incredibly polite.
I would have put it in different words !

Ok, let's say we throw in the towel and go into administration. What actually happens ?

I know we get a 12 point deduction (?) and a transfer ban (like we're going to buy anyone anyway) but what else ?

I assume the FFP black hole doesn't then disappear and is still there needing to be corrected, so does someone then come in and sell off all the family silver instead of the club itself ?

certain suppliers would probably not get their money .  I believe debt owed to players and other clubs still stand

so we would still have to pay messers  McCormack and Richards  so not very satisfactory

Suppliers would only not get their money if they agreed to a CVA or if the club was wound up.

Administration is the process before either of those where an outside party comes in to run the club solely for the benefit of the creditors. Imagine a scenario where someone will sell whatever they can to make sure we pay Micah Richards wages - that's administration.

It really should be a last resort.

We couldn’t, because it’s pretty evident we have no money.

Going down the young and develop route with Bruce in charge!  Sacking Round now sounds like a stupid idea as he has more about him than Bruce when it comes to developing younger players. I know it's down to money but it sounds like another poor Xia decision at this point in time.

Harry McGuire didn't do too badly when he was younger and plucked from Sheffield United by some dinosaur.

Just been reminded on Twitter that only 8 years ago Liverpool nearly went into administration. Living up there I remember it as real, not a false headline. Slightly different circumstances but their idiotic owners simply couldn’t magic up any more money to pay the stifling interest on their own loans. With more new owners with business acumen they got out at the 11th hour. Our starting positions differ but there is hope that by pulling the plug on the idiot in charge it doesn’t have to be a world that Pompey have occupied over a similar period

Maguire only blossomed at Hull after Bruce had gone. Before that he was sent out on loan to Wigan and the next season started about 15 league games under Bruce in the Championship.

Wow what a legacy, Randy left us with a pub and Xia will be leaving us hopefully very shortly without a pot to piss in and sold off the best thing to come out of B6 since HP Sauce. Well done everyone.

I wonder how many other clubs have had 2 owners spunk well over £200m, if not nearer 250-300m, on it and it somehow ends up in one of the worst states it's ever been in. In some ways it's highly impressive to 'achieve' that.

Indeed PWS, were a bit like a PCP on a Ford Granada, a deposit was paid, monthly payments agreed and then we got to the end of the term and realised the car wasn’t worth the outstanding finance and had to hand the keys back, except somehow we managed to do it twice.
