Boro sold their 2000 in 10 minutes. They don't have a priority system so they just put them on sale to 17,000 season ticket holders and it was a free for all. Crazy system.

Lots of Boro fans that have been to games all season will have missed out for people who only turn out for big games. That must be hard to take for the loyal fans. Hopefully loads of their half arsed fans who barely know the words to songs and like to sit down all game got tickets.

Boro actually selling out the away end at VP will be a very rare sight. Been to many games against them and always remember in the prem they struggled to even sell out the upper Witton.

Easiest and quickest booking of tickets ever !
Bring it on :)

PS - Please don't screw it up at Boro

My biggest fear, we sell out and then lose by 3 on Saturday - I can see us coming back from 2 down but not 3

Ha yes you're right Des ! I think we will draw or lose by 1 actually it's just the thought of us having one of our crap games again like Norwich or QPR

Boro have around 600 tickets remaining for their home leg so they've sold around 32k-33k including our 2k.

There are 1439 tickets still available for purchase on the website. Its never an exact science it seems, but it does include Holte End seats that were classed as sold until the season ticket holder deadline passed, so it would seem unlikely that there's anymore tickets awaiting release.

Upper Trinity - 649 [majority of them are in A8]
Middle Trinity - 217
Lower Trinity - 74

Upper Holte - 22
Lower Holte - 63

Lower Witton - 17
Upper Witton - 205

Lower North - 9
Upper North - 183

As has been posted elsewhere. As of around 5pm we'd sold 39,700. I suspect 41223 is the maximum for this one with the reduced away allocation, so circa 1300 left now.

Fulham have only sold 1700 out of 3100 for Derby tomorrow. Piss poor.

Derby and Boro haven't sold out and both will have sub-30k attendances.

Surprising. I'm excited for these Play Offs. You'd think everybody would be keyed up.

Not really, they simply don't have the support and never have had it. It's why they have to do a neutral end. Nothing piss poor about a smaller club not having the support.

According to the Boro site, they’d sold 27k plus at 3pm this afternoon, including our 2k. They say they expect to sell out. Cant see it myself. They could have given us another 2k, quite easily, but obviously didn’t want us drowning out the home support.

I can never understand why any club would give the away side more than the minimum for important games like this, you want as much advantage as possible.

In the hope that being less stingey would be reciprocated. In any case, "atmosphere" is overrated. If it really made much difference, Barcelona and Arsenal would never have won a trophy and Turkish clubs would dominate Europe.

I said important games, not every game. It can make a difference at times though, which is why as the home side i'd allow as few Boro fans as possible.

And you just named named 2 successful clubs that have bigger home to away fan ratios than most clubs :P
