Fair play to the club.  Very good pricing bearing in mind they would still  sell if they were 10quid dearer.

Just waited in queue for 15 minutes - then find no tickets are available - then look at details and they are not available to 5pm.

So why let people log on and wait in the queue?

Anybody else having trouble? After waiting 30 minutes in a queue I still can't buy them!
When I reach the "review order page" there is an error. The price is showing as £0.00 and as a result I can't buy them. I can't for the life of me figure out how to change the price.
It might just be me being stupid but any ideas?

Finally sorted it - it is a bit difficult to understand but second go I worked out how to do it and was able to upload all our tickets to our cards.

It did not go straight to our tickets which was a bit off putting but if you go to your personal page your tickets should be waiting for you to book. (If you are a season ticket holder)

Hi Villains

Any news on Official car parks.

Will they stay open, until the match has finished e.g extra time.

Many thanks

Would have been nice if they’d made it a bit clearer which number they wanted entering.

Finally figured out it was the ACN number rather than the long card number or Fan ID

Why does one card need three numbers on it anyway?

No not yet. I gave up yesterday after many failed attempts.
I'm going to have to wait in line on the phone I suppose - so much for technology!

Normally I’m old school and always phone up to buy my match tickets using my Claret Membership card. Yesterday I ordered online and found it to be very efficient indeed - self explanatory, fast and impressive.

Will hopefully be using the system again for the final on May 26th !

19000 sold as of this afternoon, with 2000 away fans and 1000 segregation on top of that.

The criteria change has seen a few thousand go since 5. Less than 20 tickets left in the Holte.

Boro sold their 2000 in 10 minutes. They don't have a priority system so they just put them on sale to 17,000 season ticket holders and it was a free for all. Crazy system.

Lots of Boro fans that have been to games all season will have missed out for people who only turn out for big games. That must be hard to take for the loyal fans. Hopefully loads of their half arsed fans who barely know the words to songs and like to sit down all game got tickets.

No, 19000.

It's only been open to non-season ticket holders since 5pm and effectively every season ticket holder has taken up their seat in 48 hours, despite not needing to until tomorrow.

20,000 seats in 48 hours is a lot. I looked at 4pm and then at Half 6 and after the criteria change, thousands had gone.

A silly system. The 800 who came earlier on a mid-week should have had priority, but if you've never been to an away game you could jib in. They only have 125 away scheme members And have generally poor away support, but this seems a mad and entirely unfair system.

The article on the website is accurate up to the criteria change at 5pm. I don't know how accurate the Twitter post is, but the Holte for example is about 2 or 3 tickets from being sold out, rather than the 1000+ that were available before 5pm.

Just found out my mate went to buy a ticket today only to be told he couldn’t as a ticket had already been purchased on his ID no. He hasn’t already bought it and found out someone else has used his ID. Anyone else experienced this? If so, did the ticket office do anything?

(I had posed this on the play offs thread, but saw this home playoffs thread so posted here)

Presumably that's how many season tickets have been sold, assuming all season ticket holders purchase? Season ticket holders have until 5pm tomorrow to purchase, I believe.

Yes but not 20,000 more.

This could well be sold out by the weekend, if not earlier, which is great going.

It's a pity that our away section is so rigid. If it was designed to be more flexible, we could probably fit another 1,000 home fans in there.

There are 1439 tickets still available for purchase on the website. Its never an exact science it seems, but it does include Holte End seats that were classed as sold until the season ticket holder deadline passed, so it would seem unlikely that there's anymore tickets awaiting release.

Upper Trinity - 649 [majority of them are in A8]
Middle Trinity - 217
Lower Trinity - 74

Upper Holte - 22
Lower Holte - 63

Lower Witton - 17
Upper Witton - 205

Lower North - 9
Upper North - 183

Not really, they simply don't have the support and never have had it. It's why they have to do a neutral end. Nothing piss poor about a smaller club not having the support.

According to the Boro site, they’d sold 27k plus at 3pm this afternoon, including our 2k. They say they expect to sell out. Cant see it myself. They could have given us another 2k, quite easily, but obviously didn’t want us drowning out the home support.

I can never understand why any club would give the away side more than the minimum for important games like this, you want as much advantage as possible.
Title: Re: Play Off - Home Leg
Post by: cdbearsfan on May 10, 2018, 09:02:08 PM
In the hope that being less stingey would be reciprocated. In any case, "atmosphere" is overrated. If it really made much difference, Barcelona and Arsenal would never have won a trophy and Turkish clubs would dominate Europe.
Title: Re: Play Off - Home Leg
Post by: PeterWithesShin on May 10, 2018, 09:07:21 PM
I said important games, not every game. It can make a difference at times though, which is why as the home side i'd allow as few Boro fans as possible.

And you just named named 2 successful clubs that have bigger home to away fan ratios than most clubs :P

From PRAVDA

If you’re looking to collect on the day of the game, please be aware that we are fully expecting queues – unless you arrive over one hour before kick-off.

There is an unprecedented volume of collections expected and we want to avoid long queues or anyone potentially missing kick-off.

Also, if you are in any doubt which ticket fulfilment method you selected when purchasing you ticket (e-ticket/upload to card/post/collect), please take the opportunity to establish this information before matchday by calling us on 0333 323 1874.
