With respect to everyone who has posted on this thread, the kit seems the least of our problems next season, at this point in time. The biggest issues appear to be whether 1. We’ll have any players to wear it and, 2. If we’ll have any money to pay their stupid fkn wages.

That's why it's a separate thread. There's no need for it to be all doom and gloom.

With respect robbo, this is a kit thread. There are plenty of threads in which we can worry about our impending Villageddon.

If this is genuine, it looks good.

Now, do we have a team to wear it?

That is a thing of beauty - proper claret, proper blue, proper places.  I do hope it's the real thing but suspect we will have another purple and lilac fiasco.

Why will it? Surely if Villa fans are designing the kit it will be the right colours. The last thing they will want is to get something so fundamental wrong on their first go.

Also if the kit is really good it might sell more and boost revenues.

Well whenever the colours have been questioned at the forums the stock response has been something about a colour template or pallette or whatever it's called.  Even thought it's clearly wrong.  Unless that has been dispensed with, I don't see how the kit will suddenly revert to proper claret and blue.

The fella from Luke is a Villa fan and has said he is determined to get the colours right.  Of course what 'right' is can be pretty subjective.

Burnley don’t  seem to have a problem with their kit manufacturer’s making a claret coloured shirt.

The blue on the west ham one is a shocker.

Let's hope so.  But he is also supposedly a fan of that hideous half and half kit we had around 1984.  Not sure whether it's a good or bad development having him on board.

If that is the new kit it looks nice. Colours look good too. The only thing that spoils it for me is the badge. We need to rid ourselves of that God awful Lerner/Xia era badge asap.
