It looks like it is going that way. Wilson looks permanently on the verge of tears.

He's just got one of those hangdog expressions where he constantly looks like he's lost a pound and found a penny. There was a segment on him at home during the week and he seems a likeable guy to be fair.

10-7, Ronnie got out of jail there after Wilson's miss on the final red.

Ronnie looks a totally different player today and Wilson's positional weaknesses are going to cost him. He should have won at least two of the first four frames.

Gonna stick my neck out and suggest it won’t be a late night finish at Crucible

I think Wilson needs to do a Villa.

He's 125/1 on at the moment.  Not even Damo sticking a grand on O'Sullivan would sway this one I reckon.

O'Sullivan beats Ding Junhui 6-5 in a little cracker of a match.

Fair play to Yan Bingtao great win over John Higgins but how bad is bbc coverage - Virgo has to be one of the most hopeless pundits on any sport, even worse than McManaman.  Constantly wittering on, virtually every comment is a question & the amount of times he says ‘think he can see it’ when it is blatantly obvious....just a shame Eurosport have Joe Johnson who is worse :-)

Brilliant!

RIP Doug. He was a lovely guy. I met him when he did an exhibition at our club many years ago, a real gentleman. I'll always remember that amazing win against Hendry in the 1988 UK Championship after he worked with the great coach, Frank Callan.

Back to the 90s watching Hendry and White in the qualifiers.  Pretty poor standard so far mind

Hendry won 6-3. Will have to improve significantly to get near qualification but forgivable as it is only his second game back since unretiring. White needs to hope for another wildcard spot to stay on the tour,  would imagine he'll get it.

Was never going to be a match where both players were rattling in century breaks.  Hendry hasn't played competitively for nearly ten years.

Jimmy White must be having thoughts about retirement even if he does get another wildcard.  He was awful at times yesterday.
