Another thing!  Those players no that they wont play in the premier league and that's why they don't work every week and Bruce no's he will be gone if we were to get promoted!  Its just a shambles and i would have thought owner would have seen this!!!

We seem to always have that kind of performance in the locker and we’ve seen it too often this season.  Offered little going forward until we were left chasing the game and looked vulnerable at the back all afternoon, with the two full-backs being particularly poor.

Grealish was our only playmaker and worked his bollocks off. Adomah was abysmal first half but so were most of them.

How does Grealish escape criticisim. Goal aside, he was fucking garbage

I agree. It’s why I’ve consistently tempered my own expectations and adulation of him. He’s a very promising player and is still developing. He’s not England class. He might not even be PL level yet because if he was he’d have more influence in games where we need someone, anyone to step and make things happen. That’s what sets those players apart and in the PL, let alone international level he’ll be up against players every bit as good as him and many who are better. I’m sure Jack will come good, but he’s got a ways to go yet.

I’m not blaming him for today. They were all shit. But he scored and Hogan should have scored for his great cross. But outside of that he didn’t much of anything.

Stay in this league and we'll just hire some crap underachiever like Chris Coleman. Pulling power dims and before you know it we're Leeds United.

The likes of Wolves & Fulham have been down here for a while, but they've managed to get there act together now. Perhaps if the VP hierarchy looked at what they're doing right in order to play attacking & very successful football, we might just have a better chance to build something which doesn't necessitate spunking multi-millions on aged ex-Premier players - who should be either be hanging up their boots or buggering off to the MLS.

My way of dealing with this afternoon is my long held belief that we were never going straight up. Coupled with a conviction that we will at least make the play off final, we are on course. So all ok really.

Unless we play like that in the semis where I am likely to go fuckin' postal.

Same here, the only player trying to impose himself on the game.

We appointed a championship manager so we have got a championship team. It's not that hard to understand.

The galling thing is that while we could possibly rip up the Villa Engine thing and get a leftfield, tactically aware coach who scours the world for a team which wins in the way we think football should be played, our leitmotif is to say 'we need to be back we we belong' so we'll go for the next cab off a very mediocre rank and spend horrendous amounts of money doing so.

We never win there.

We have done, but we won't if we put in the sort of shitehouse 'performance' like today. I take it you witnessed just how pathetic we actually were? Play like that against anyone - & we'd have got stuffed.
