kippa i,m in dreamland right now . never thought we would be in the top 2 right now at this stage . for me thought we might scrap  top 10 nothing more . warnock will get the freedom of the city of cardiff if we make it to the prem .

even the plastic man utd  man city , liverpool fans are swapping there tops to cardiff tops right now in south wales  . the demand for villa away tickets is incredible right now all over south wales. it's not all rugby down here you know  !
Good to hear that.  Nothing worse than plastics or Brummie Reds (brummie manu fans , lowest of the low).
Pity it won’t be close for the match otherwise it would have been a classic midweek lock out under the floodlights.

Dinas ignore him.  To be fair thought you are over performing with that squad.  And as I’ve said before as a result of that Mr Warnock deserves a knighthood if he gets you up this season.

Only if Liz actually says 'Arise, Sir Colin Wanker.'

I change my mind all the while. I'm not the Church.

Luck is used a figure of speech, if somebody is using it as a genuine means of analysis then they're talking shite.

Perhaps look it as a figure of speech.

The playoffs are decided by one or two moments in a game.

Who mentioned the church? Change your mind a lot - take your time in future 😂

Utter, utter shit. To think one week ago at this exact time we had just battered Wolves.

We deserved nothing from the game.

Have you been hacked? I agree with you for once!

If there's an extenuating circumstance today it is that conditions were abysmal.

Yes abysmal for both teams but it was always going to impact is more and drag our players down to the level of theirs.

We need to keep our shit together and focus on taking as many points as we can till the end of the season.

I am not a massive Bruce fan either but some of the stuff posted about him just seven days after taking wolves to pieces is embarrassing.

Anyone still like it in this division?
As a fan I naturally don't like shit performances from my team and obviously prefer high quality matches.
However, the state of the Premier League is diabolical. The top 6 are fairly predictable and yet serial Cup winners in Arsenal in 6th are roundly criticised by their 'fans'.Similarly with Everton in 9th..Below them it's almost just a desire to stay in the League and grab the money.10 teams still in the relegation mire.In the Championship 10 teams aiming for the play offs. There is far less fear in this division.
Who predicted Huddersfield for promotion and likewise with Cardiff ? Sunderland and Hull have struggled after relegation.
Villa should not be in this league but perhaps it's cynical old age but I can't get excited about the Premier League.

I agree.  Despite our ups n downs in this league over the last two seasons, it’s definitely been more fun than languishing at the drop in the PL.  We ain’t auto going up, so looks like the play offs. Which will be exciting.  So if we win the play offs we go up and get new manager, if we don’t, we get new a manager and piss it next season.

I don’t miss the Premier League one bit.
Stuck near the bottom of the insurmountable climb watching second rate at best overseas players fill up the promised land of leagues while young talented prospects get suffocated out of first team opportunities.
Nah not for me.
What an idiot.
The fact that up until a few weeks ago half of the league was in the relegation scrap says it all.
How many playmaking midfielders were up for the England squad then? Not many to pick from is there?

Terrible performance again.

We need to recharge the batteries during the layoff and make sure this blip doesn't turn in to another one of those terrible runs we go on that last 8 games. Panicking about not making the play offs is a bit extreme, we've had a bad week, at the end of a fantastic 10+ weeks. We can definitely still do this. Automatic is almost gone, but If we all still give 110% we can be more than a match for anyone in this division.

Agree hyperbole about Bruce.  Even if we don’t go up I’ve changed my mind I’d want him to stay.

Well said mate.We have no one to fear in this division other than ourselves! Fulham are the only threat to us and I saw many holes in their game today

True. If only our season was one game.

It is crystal clear to anybody who goes to the games that SB pays no attention to playing conditions or to the opposition whatsoever. Plenty of our support and many on this forum seem to share the same view; why the fuck should we? We are the biggest club with the most resources so let's just let rip.

Against many teams we have played in the last two seasons, doing any research at all , never mind the Moreno 50 page dossier, would have demonstrated that we could shut down the opposition's main playmaker(s). Often it has only been one. But no.

This is SB. He does what he does and will never change. Why should he? He earns the big bucks.
