After our last couple of performances what chance do we realistically have of staying in the premiership if we do go up ?

Is there a crash course in tactics during the summer?

Why do you fancy the job?

Not half!

From boom to bust.  Bruce is our Norman Lamont and I’ve no idea where to take this analogy....

Probably zero. But at least if we do go up (no, me either) we'd get £millions more than where we are now and then have parachute payments when we come back down.

No it's not all about the money - except that sadly it is.

We’ve become small time. The Wolves game was our cup final. We’ve just shit the fucking bed since.

It's been like that for years hasn't it?

So many times under Lambert we'd get the odd good result which would get people excited thinking we were finally onto something and we've then eliminate that thought with a wretched run.

Same thing is happening again, why you just can't get excited supporting us these days.

I was buzzing after the Wolves game, couldn't wait for QPR etc and look what happens. Can't think of too many clubs out there who'd follow a great derby win and performance with two straight losses to bottom 8 teams.

Ah well.

You get what you give and we gave nothing in both games and got nothing from both games. You can't even say we were unlucky tonight, we had a couple half attempts here and there but never really looked like scoring. It was a piss poor performance and having not won away at Hull for 8 years on current form I'll be thinking twice about predicting a "turnaround" win.

(On sky as well, make it stop!)

If teams like Bournemouth, Watford and Burnley can establish themselves in the PL, then surely Villa can?? Play-offs should be the aim now..... could be a good day out at Wembley!

Something about "green shoots of recovery" and "the pain being worth it" whilst the world around goes to ruin?

It's not going to get any easier. Going to Hull, Ipswich, Norwich, Millwall are all tough. Home to Derby and kicker Cardiff also tough. We need to guarantee a play off spot.  I have so little faith in Bruce, just as we seem to be doing well, we think we've cracked it and fall apart.

I can't remember ever seeing us win in the snow.

Congratulations to Wolves and Cardiff.

Poor defending for the goal.

Played all the football there was on a snow-pitch against a team of hoofers.

Had enough chances to win the game but then Bruce brings on Davis (did he touch the ball?) and empties out the midfield.

Mindless!
