What a superb evening. We started off great then they equalised and looked the better team for a while. Then we came back into it and the best player of the half for me was Jack Grealish by a country mile. Second half, I think Bruce has sorted out that right wing back causing problems and we were brilliant. Jack is a proper footballer now. I would have preferred BB and Hogan, but Bruce has been spot on. I first started watching my beloved club in the old third division and love them just as much now

After our opening goal we backed off them for a spell during which time you could  see they can play. Strong finish to first half from us with Grealish a shining light. No idea of why we were so dominant second half, Wolves were made to look so ordinary. The crowd were great too, they’ll have a big part to play in the run in.

Cracking game. Heard a Villa fan on 6-0-6 on the way home, saying Grealish should be in the England squad for the world cup. Jeez, was Robbie Savage at his best in showing why he's more like a tabloid journalist than a broadsheet one.

On their forum they are saying that we were lucky and that the ref was on our side whilst on the other hand giving their keeper and one of their defenders a 1 out of 10 and 2 out of 10 mark respectively. Also we are jumped up and above ourselves and our manager is a fat c*nt. They also suggest that due to our luck and undeserved win their manager shouldn't have shook hands with our fat manager. Also we need to wind our necks in as we have only won the league once since 1910.

They don't mention the fact that we won the European cup whilst they were getting relegated and going bankrupt and the fact that they treat winning a few floodlit friendlies against foreign opposition in the fifties as if they were champions of Europe. But we can't mention that because we are a bunch of arrogant c*nts who need to wind our necks in.

Apart from that they have taken defeat quite well.

Been up most of the night with our dog who had a major cancer operation yesterday, only benefit was being able to be up for a 3.30am KO.  Well done Villa, cheered us both up as he had a celebratory dog treat when the 4th went in.

Snodgrass, Terry and Chester all superb but Grealish was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch, ran the game.

I grew up as the only Villa fan surrounded by Dingles where we lived, and I've been absolutely relentless in the group chat this evening after putting up with their cockiness all season. Those two pics will be the cherry on the top of my verbal barrage - superb.

What a performance. We may have simultaneously derailed their waltz to the champions league and lit the spark for a huge run in - I back us to be another 12 points off by the Cardiff game. We've got to beat them - and they still have the host Wolves. There's points to be dropped all over the place!

Did you really expect anything else from these deluded morons?

They genuinely believed that all they had to do was turn up today and their team would give us a footballing lesson. Our football has done the talking and their drivel is no longer worthy of our time. Deep down, it is sinking in that they are not Barcelona mark11 after all and that the 60,000 stadium for European matches is a bit longer off than they first thought.

One thing that I would love to know though is would any of their players get into our side? Oh and also, if Neves is worth £15 million, what does that make Jack's value?

As I have said elsewhere, you will have to travel a long, long way to find a Wolves fan with a sense of humour, or who can accept that their club, and anyone associated with it, has any failings whatsoever.

Well, what an unexpectedly brilliant evening!
In the first half, it was pretty even, with neither side getting much goalside incidents apart from the goals. Second half - wow; that is how to announce yourself to the rest of the division!
Snodgrass was immense, despite the clear intention of the WW players to target him.
Grealish is now playing the magestic, Cryuff-like role that is his destiny.
Grabban has been an important addition, since he not only runs the channels, he also roughs up the CB (something Hogan is not really equipped to do as well). The third goal was a thing of beauty.
The manager got it right; thank you.

WW were not as impressive as I’d been expecting. They might even end up in the play offs... arff, arff.

We now need to stay grounded for the QPR game, and win that.
