You can argue one way or another about the quality of both sides but when it comes to to experience and character they aren't anywhere near us in my opinion.

A massive thing for me is that in both the sha game and today, we looked like we wanted it more and were up for it more.

The pressure was on and the players delivered. We have a team at last who look like they want to play for the shirt and for each other. What a statement of intent. Absolutely buzzing after that.

I fucking love this team, every last one of them. If you could bottle a proper Aston Villa performance that was it.

To be fair that is a common streak with Bruce whoever he has managed - his teams seem to thrive in local derbys

Grinding those mutants into the dust is no more than our predecessors would expect of us.  Normal service has been resumed.  Inbred vocally disabled slag heap burrowers get thee hence.

The English language is a beautiful thing in the right hands. Marvellous.

What an absolutely brilliant evening that was!

Best atmosphere down at Villa Park for ages, all four sides giving it everything and absolutely ripping it out of Wolves!

Top of the League? You're having a laugh!

I looks like John Terry is going to earn every penny of his alleged £2m promotion bonus.
Fair play to the guy, he took low wages ,with add on's, instead of going for the money straight off.

They're right, it was a blatant pen and if it had gone to 3-2, who knows. Which makes it even sweeter that they were skanked on that after acting like bellends all week.

They did fuck all else though and they know it, so they can bollocks.

Jack and Albert superb, but what a signing Grabban's turned out to be.

First half pretty even. Second half wasn't.  Glad we got a fourth, transformed a comfortable scoreline into a drubbing.and an accurate reflection of the play. We are wondering when the last time we beat the top team in the league. Arsenal 20+ years ago on the last day of the season?
