You could be right. 1993/94 we played on December 19 and not again until December 29th.
We played Liverpool at Villa Park on May 7th. Last game of the season.

I thought it was Liverpool but maybe my memory is playing tricks on me. It sticks in the mind because the club lost a lot of money and it prompted Ellis to get under soil heating installed the following season.

Leeds away got called off in the mid-90s. Then Wigan away about 8 year ago. Cannot recall any others.

About 1996, Liverpool got called off about 1pm Boxing Day. IIRC we had a lot of injuries and may have forgotten to cover the pitch. Played Wednesday night in Jan instead, lost 2-0 I think

The Blackburn away league in the league cup semi final got postponed in 2010 IIRC. That was probably the worst winter I can remember for a while

Leicester was 2001 I think. It got called off the day before after Villa made no attempt to get the game on and I did hear a whisper that they wanted it off because of planned protests.
