Initial allocation of 2,600 with another 2,200 if we want them.

The 2,600 are in the lower tier. Only after those are sold will they start selling the upper tier.

£30 lower tier, £35 upper tier is quite steep for a game that's live on Sky. It will be interesting to see how sales go for this one. Thinking back to earlier in the season, we didn't sell a simikar allocation at Barnsley for a live Sky game.

The Red Lion in Ash Vegas to get a visit from a few Villa coaches before hand. I only work 5 minutes away.

Yep, easy peasy. Comfortable four and half train journey from Bournemouth to Manchester and then after a pint or ten quick twenty minute hop to Horwich. Getting back might be a little bit more difficult though!

It's not all that clear on the National Rail website, but it appears that there may be a rail replacement bus service between Preston and Manchester via Horwich every weekend, unless they've drawn a bus in the wrong place on their map. See links below. I hope someone can tell me I'm wrong! I can't see a bus service coping with a football crowd.

Incidentally, it seems that there's a rail replacement bus for the last part of the route to Hull (about an hour) on Easter Saturday, the day we play there.

How much would a taxi from Manchester to Bolton cost? I'm guessing a small fortune.

And a fabulous Polish church, if you found yourself in the neighbourhood.

Thanks. Expensive proposition there and back unless I can persuade people to share.

When I've looked at train tickets online for Bolton on 17th they don't indicate it being a bus service from Piccadilly.

I'd noticed that, Meanwood, but National Rail say this in their announcement:

These changes are not currently shown in the National Rail Enquiries Journey Planner, please check back nearer to the time of travel.
That's what makes it all rather confusing. As I say, I hope I'm wrong
